Aotearoa - the land of the long white cloud
Blastering winds, heavy showers and cold weather in the last few days induced me to walk through my summer pictures collections awaking the memories about the better times. This is the view from Mt Eden of Rangitoto Island, Devonport and Auckland Central Area. Picture was taken in January at the height of the summer season.
Waitakere Trust Chess tournament (day two)
Today was the second and the last day of Waitakere Trust Chess tournament. The first place this time was split between five finalists. The winner's cup stays with Russian born Alexei Kulashko. He has been a winner of Waitakere Trust Chess tournament for five times. He is also a three times chess champion of New Zealand.
